The deadline for fleet owners/ managers and motor traders to upload their vehicle details to the National Fleet Database is fast approaching.
All this information must be provided by 30th November, after which date those who do not comply could face prosecution in the courts and fines of up to €500 per vehicle.
The MIBI has been running an advertising campaign to help ensure those who are impacted are aware of this upcoming deadline, working in conjunction with the Road Safety Authority (RSA).
Radio ads have been featuring across several national stations and we have also begun running the ads featured on this page in national newspapers too.
It is a legal requirement for all vehicles on flexible fleet or motor trader insurance policies to be added to the National Fleet Database.
We would urge anyone who has not already done so to register their vehicles on nfd.mtpl.ie by 30th November 2023.
