An interesting per capita heatmap of MIBI’s uninsured and untraced (hit & run) 2017 claims by county, and an analysis of claims volumes by county considering urbanisation. This allows comparison of claim rates between counties having regard for their population sizes.
Click below for the Heatmap:
The claim numbers are expressed on the basis of claims per 100,000 population for each county. This allows comparison of claim rates between counties having regard for their population sizes.
It can be seen from the map that many rural counties with lower populations actually have quite high rates of claims, e.g. Cavan and Longford.
